Red Meranti Lumber

This attractive Red Meranti lumber is kiln-dried and surfaced on two sides. Quartersawn pieces often display interlocked grain, creating a visually appealing figure. The wood has medium to large pores and offers moderate resistance to rot. Boards longer than 36 inches may exhibit a slight twist or bow, ranging from 1/16" to 1/8". Red Meranti is generally easy to work with using both hand and power tools.
