Sipo Bowl Blank

Sipo, also known as Utile, has the most similar grain to Genuine Mahogany of all the woods. The color is a uniform reddish brown with a moderate natural luster. A slight cedar-like smell is present when worked. This high quality turning stock is kiln dried and ready to turn now! An occasional surface check or small milling mark may be present. This wood glues and finishes well.
