Incense Cedar is a fragrant, lightweight wood known for its excellent workability and fine detail capability, making it a favorite among woodturners. Commonly used in pencil manufacturing, it turns easily, takes crisp detail, glues well, and sands to a smooth finish with minimal effort. This blank is freshly cut and wax sealed to help preserve moisture and reduce checking during storage. It may contain sapwood, soft pockets, pin holes, or minor end checks. This Incense Cedar is especially well-suited for twice-turned projects and delivers reliable, high-quality results for a variety of turning applications. Size may vary +/- 1/8".
