Red Cumaru Lumber

Red Cumaru is an exceptionally dense, durable hardwood prized for its rich natural character, excellent durability, and ability to take a beautiful, high-gloss polish. Its high natural oil content enhances the finished appearance of woodworking projects, creating a smooth, lustrous surface, though it can make gluing more challenging and may require proper surface preparation. Because of its density, sharp, well-maintained tools are recommended when working this wood. Our Red Cumaru lumber is kiln dried and surfaced on two sides, making it ready for a wide range of woodworking projects, turning, and specialty applications. This wood ships to the USA only. This piece has checks. Please see pictures for details.
