Having been freshly cut in May 2026 and wax sealed to preserve the quality, it is ideal for twice turning as it contains moisture. Photos feature an array of color and figure, which ranges in intensity and uniqueness from piece to piece. Shrinkage and some checking can develop as the wood dries.
