Extra Fancy Fiddleback Claro Walnut Bowl Blank

This beautiful quilted Claro woodturning material was cut from one special quilted log. Having been freshly cut in January of 2024 and wax sealed to preserve the quality, it is ideal for twice turning as it contains moisture. Photos feature an array of color and figure, which ranges in intensity and uniqueness from piece to piece depending on which part of the log the wood was cut from. Inclusions and small end checks may be present. Shrinkage and some checking can develop as the wood dries. Hand picked for beauty, you’ll enjoy working this exquisite hardwood.
