Canary Lumber

This Canary wood has a wide range of color from red, orange, yellow, and green, to gold and brown. Similar in density to Brazilian Tulipwood, Canary works easily for a dense hardwood and takes a high natural polish. The wood is kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. It is very clean and usable, but may contain occasional bug holes, knots, and an occasional small check. Boards over 30" long may have a slight bow or twist of 1/16" to 1/8". This species is used in all kinds of fine woodworking projects. This piece has inclusions, an end split, and a staple in the end grain. Please see pictures for details.
