Canary

Called Tarara in Brazil, this is a beautiful exotic that has some of the colors of Tulip wood without the splitting tendencies and high cost. Canary wood is also available in larger sizes than Tulip. Colors for Canary range from red, yellow, orange, green, and tan to brown. The wood glues and machines well and a high, glass-like polish can be easily obtained. Suitable uses include cabinets, flooring, turning, brush backs, and fine boxes.  This wood is ideal for many fine woodworking projects.
