Rustic Asian Iron Burl Turning Blank

Southeast Asian Iron Burl wood combines figure and burl with warm Amboyna-like colors! It is two shades lighter than Amboyna Burl but similar in density and working properties. Bark inclusions and checks may be present in some pieces. This wood is dry and ready to use. It has been surfaced on two sides and may have been sanded and shellac sealed (shellac seal may be imperfect and scratched). This high end hardwood is ideal for fine woodworking projects such as jewelry boxes, pistol grips, knife scales, and more! You’ll love working with this rare wood.
