Ziricote Instrument or Craft Lumber (15" x 2-1/2" x 7/32")

INCLUDES 1 WOOD BLANK (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). This micro lumber is ideal for small woodworking projects or instrument work. This lumber would fit a Soprano Ukulele side, though it is sold individually and not in a bookmatched set. It is dry and ready to use. Also known as Ciricote, this rare species is only found in a small portion of Central America on the Caribbean coast. Beautiful color contrast and grain patterns are a prominent characteristic of this striking hardwood. Ziricote is a dense hardwood with excellent stability. Its fine texture allows it to be turned, carved, sanded, and polished to a beautiful finish. This file photo shows sanded wood. Your wood will arrive with a rough, bandsawn surface that is unsanded. Size may vary +/- 1/8".
