Extra Fancy Maple Platter

This beautiful Big Leaf Maple has been surfaced on two sides and is fully wax sealed. It was freshly cut in April of 2025 and contains moisture, though the log it was cut from was well aged and much drier than normal, causing this wood to be about half of the normal moisture of blanks from a freshly cut log. It has varying degrees of figure, burl, and beautiful color. Inclusions and checks may exist in burl sections. This exceptional Maple is ideal for your special woodworking projects!
