Tulipwood Pen Blank (5 Pack) - 1/2"

The measurements above are for the shipping size. Each individual blank measures 5" x 1/2" x 1/2" (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). Brazilian Tulip, Dalbergia variabilis, was named for the pleasant fragrance and delicate pink and red lines it contains. A true Rosewood, it is easy to turn and finishes to a high natural polish. Care must be taken to drill this wood carefully as it does have a tendency to split if too much force is applied. Skill Level: Intermediate.
