Genuine Teak is an exotic wood that is highly sought after for its water resistance, fragrant aroma, and smooth luster. A great beginner wood, this species is easy to work and very beautiful when finished. It has a moderate blunting effect on blades. This high quality lumber has been kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. A slight 1/8" bow/twist may exist in boards over 30 inches in length. A minor end or surface check may be present. Boards with live edges have checks edges and may contain checks on faces. Enjoy this workable and lustrous species!
