Swiss Pear Turning Bargain Box

This beautiful Swiss Pear turning wood is premium grade stock that is mostly free of defects. It was freshly cut in November of 2025 and completely wax sealed, making it ideal for twice turned bowls. This fine-grained Swiss hardwood is exceptional to work. It may develop a surface or end check or shrinkage during the drying process. The measurements above are for the shipping size. This box contains pieces of different sizes. The longest piece measures 6-1/16" x 2-15/16" x 2-7/8". The shortest piece measures 4-3/16" x 4-1/8" x 2-15/16".
