Redwood Lace Burl Turning Square 6 Pack

This salvaged Redwood lace burl was freshly cut in March 2025 and wax sealed. This wood comes from a tree that fell across a California highway in the winter of 2025 and was salvaged. It is ideal for twice turned bowls and other turned articles. Since it is from old growth stock and has very tight growth rings, it has great workability as well as fantastic mineral coloring! The wood cuts easily and glues well, making it a pleasure to work with. We're confident that you'll enjoy working this Pacific Northwest gem. Inclusions and occasional minor checking or rough corner edges may be present. This is a 6-piece set. The measurements above are for the shipping size. This pack contains pieces of different sizes. The longest piece measures 12-3/16" x 1-15/16" x 1-7/8". The shortest piece measures 9-1/8" x 1-3/4" x 1-3/4".
