Red Ironbark Turning Bargain Box

Red Ironbark is an Australian wood that cuts nicely and takes a naturally high polish because of its density and the presence of oils. Fine, interlocked grain also contributes to the nice finish. This was freshly cut in September of 2025 and fully wax sealed. Large blanks may develop some shrinkage or minor checks during drying but will still produce beautiful turned articles. These minor defects may be present before shipping, but should easily turn away. Woodworkers will enjoy the stunning finish and rich color of this exotic hardwood. The measurements above are for the shipping size. This box contains pieces of different sizes. The longest piece measures 6-3/16" x 6-1/8" x 1-5/16". The shortest piece measures 4-3/16" x 4-1/8" x 2-1/2".
