Figured Oregon Ironwood Micro Lumber

Oregon Ironwood is the densest native tree in Oregon! In fact, it sinks in water. Colors range from brown to pink in the heartwood with a yellowish sapwood. This wood has amazing workability and fine grain. It has been vacuum kiln dried, surfaced on two sides, and is ready to use. Ideal uses include musical instrument parts, small boxes, turned articles, knives, and inlay. Many pieces have a live edge. Live edges can contain checks and splits. 1/8" bow/twist may be present in boards over 36". This piece has checks and planer skip. Please see pictures for details.
