INCLUDES 1 WOOD BLANK (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). Myrtle is one of our specialty woods, as it is grown and harvested right here in our home state of Oregon, hand selected by us, trucked to our yard, and carefully milled in our facility. Myrtle wood is renowned throughout the Pacific Northwest for its excellent machining and finishing properties as well as its beautiful color, spicy aroma, and figure. Colors range drastically even in the same log so that each blank can range from golden yellow, green, black, brown, tan, and violet. Each blank is unique, making each project a one of a kind. Myrtle wood is great for the beginner and expert alike. Each and every one of these blanks is wonderful quality, freshly cut, completely wax sealed & ready for your creativity! As with all wood there may be minor checks or incursions present and if so they should easily turn away.
This FAS grade material is kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. It is free of any defects except a minor check or blemish (99% free of defect or better!). Board Sizes: Length: 9 to 12 Ft. Width: 4 to 10" Thickness: 7/8".

This exceptional African Sapele lumber is kiln dried, surfaced on two sides, and ready to use. Common uses for this high end material are guitars, ukuleles, and other fine woodworking projects such as furniture and boxes. A beautiful, tight “Pomelle” figure is present in most boards. This is the most figured Sapele lumber we’ve had in 20 years! If you are looking for something outstanding for your next exotic wood project, this African Sapele is an alluring choice! This slab has a rustic live edge with checks and splits. There are some planer skips visible on the face and a small scuff on the live edge. It also has a 3" end split opposite end of the numbers. This piece has incredible figuring and could be used for guitars, tables, and many many more projects!
This superior batch of figured Bubinga has a range of beautiful pomelle figure, chatoyance, and violet streaks with rich burgundy color. Suitable for high end, fine woodworking projects, this kiln dried and surfaced material is ideal for many uses. Though it is kiln dried, there may be a slight bit of residual moisture present in some pieces. Some blanks may have a small end check, but the material is very clean. Bubinga ships to the USA only.
Piquiarana, a large, dense, South American hardwood, is ideally suited for a large table or bar top. Figured live edges add character and beauty to this unique species. This slab has been vacuum kiln dried and planed on two sides. There may be areas of minor planer hit/miss. Both faces contain inclusions. Drying checks and splits are present on both faces and ends. Specific gravity is 0.72, as compared to Walnut at 0.55, making this a very durable choice for a high traffic area. Enjoy creating a lovely project with this splendid South American beauty! 1/8" bow and twist. This piece has end checks and splits present. There are some checks on the faces as well. Epoxy resin will be needed to fill checks and voids. There will be inclusions present as well as surface and end checks and splits. This item must be shipped freight.
