Madrone Pen Blank, Burl (5 Pack) - 3/4"

The measurements above are for the shipping size. Each individual blank measures 5" x 3/4" x 3/4" (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). Beautiful, classic Madrone with warm pink and golden tones and great workability. Blanks are kiln dried and have been pressure cooked to relieve tension but they do contain some residual moisture. Burl eyes may have small inclusions or checks that can be worked around or filled with CA glue and sawdust or other media. Areas of fiddleback and swirling eyes make this a wonderful choice for pens! Skill Level: Intermediate.
