Louro Preto is a dense, durable hardwood prized for its stunning visual contrast and ease of use. Its rich, dark heartwood sharply contrasts with lighter sapwood, creating a dramatic, natural pattern that adds instant character to any project. Subtle ambrosia-like bug holes and colorful streaks further enhance its unique appearance, making each board one of a kind. This kiln dried lumber is surfaced on two sides and works beautifully, gluing easily and taking a smooth, high-quality natural finish. There may be minor surface or end checks and slight bowing (1/16" to 1/8"). Louro Preto is perfect for boxes, charcuterie boards, or standout accent pieces. It delivers both beauty and versatility.
