East Indian Rosewood is set apart from many woods through its range of colors. Each piece is unique, with any combination of black, violet, brown, purple, Olive green, and blue undertones. Rosewoods take an exceptionally high polish and this species is no exception! The oily nature of the wood contributes to the high natural polish. This species is ideal for all woodworkers from beginner to expert. A minor bow may be present on boards over 3 ft. in length. Kiln dried and surfaced on two sides, this wood is ready for use. Two inch thick stock is kiln dried, but may contain slight residual moisture. It cannot ship outside of the USA.
