Elm Burl Bowl Blank

This Elm is great for wood turning! Rich color, easy machinability, and a nice finish are just a few of the reasons Elm is a great choice, not to mention the affordable cost. This turning stock was freshly cut in June of 2026, contains moisture, and is wax sealed. An occasional surface/end check or inclusion may be present. The burl eyes can contain voids and often develop checks. This is a wonderful choice for anyone, from the beginner to the expert woodturner. We recommend the twice turning method for working this wood. This piece has inclusions and cut corners. Please see pictures for details.
