This beautiful Claro Walnut turning stock was cut from several high quality, hand picked burls. Having been freshly cut in March of 2025 and wax sealed to preserve the quality, it is ideal for twice turning as it contains moisture. Photos feature an array of color, burl, and figure, which ranges in intensity and uniqueness from piece to piece depending on which part of the burl the wood was cut from. Minor inclusions and small end checks may be present. Shrinkage and some checking can develop as the wood dries. Hand picked for beauty, you’ll enjoy working this exquisite hardwood.
