Chinese Elm Turning Bargain Box

Chinese elm is ideal for turned articles. The wood has beautiful, rich colors combined with interesting grain patterns. Though it is dense, it works well with hand and power tools. This elm was freshly cut in July of 2025 from salvaged logs. It is completely wax sealed and ready for twice turning. It is very clean, but a few may have a small end or surface check that should easily turn away. This is an affordably priced exotic wood that is worth a second look! This box contains pieces of different sizes. The longest piece measures 10-5/16" x 1-7/8" x 1-7/8". The shortest piece measures 4-5/8" x 4-3/4" x 2-1/16".
