Extra Fancy Ceylon Ebony Lumber

Ceylon Ebony is a jet black colored hardwood with light brown or reddish brown streaks. It does not have gray streaking that is common in Gabon or other Equatorial West Coast African Ebony; it is a closer color match to Madagascar Ebony's pure black. It is suitable for guitar and ukulele fingerboards and bridge blanks as well as other high end woodworking projects. Streaked Ebony boards have crisp defined lines that are visually stunning. This is one of the rarest Ebonies on the World market. This wood has been surfaced on two sides. It is kiln dried, wax sealed on the ends, and is ready to use. 1/16" to 1/8" bow/twist may be present in boards 30" and over. Pin holes may be present. This piece has planer skip and edge splits.
