Pan Burl Instrument Lumber

This extremely rare SE Asian Burl has been cut for over 10 years. It is air dried and ready to use. Bug holes, checks, live edges, and extensive inclusions are present, adding unique character to this hardwood species. Some of the inclusions/voids may contain clay, which can be easily removed with a screwdriver or other tool. This richly colored exotic wood will make woodworking projects really stand out! Use pieces whole or cut them into bottle stoppers, pen blanks, knife blanks, and other pieces for fine woodworking articles. This piece has checks, inclusions, and voids in the burl eyes.
