The wood in this special is kiln dried, surfaced on two sides and is generally sealed on the ends. Some blanks will have occasional very faint hairline checks in black streaks or a minor end check that should be easy to work with or around. These are usually near or on the sapwood; they are very small and minor. This wood is exceptionally high quality A grade material. Please look at the pictures to see coverage of sapwood on faces. These have superior overall quality with some especially large sizes! This is the same material that we use to cut instrument sets that are sold to larger instrument companies. Cut your own sets and save up to 50%! It is getting much harder to obtain this wood so stock up and take advantage of the wonderful pricing!
