Leopardwood, Roupala montana, is a medium to dense hardwood from Central and South America with somewhat coarse texture and unique patterns. Rich reddish brown color accents grayish colored flecks that resemble the spots of a leopard. Lopeardwood is wood is moderately difficult to work because of the density and possible tearout when planed, but it glues and finishes well.
