Goldfield burls are a rare and wonderful species from Australia that can be expected to yield exceptional woodworking projects! They are surfaced on the face to reveal their natural burl eyes & rich color. Backs are natural and bark free with unique live burl edge that can be utilized creatively. A beautiful mix of golden brown heartwood with contrasting white sapwood. Burl eyes are generally tight with beautiful patterns. Only small incursions are present. Dry and ready to use but may contain residual moisture.
