Elaegnus angustifolia. Rich two -tone browns with contrasting white sapwood and thin furrowed board on live edge blanks. Eastern European species. The wood is a medium density hardwood with grain patterns similar to Catalpa and colors emulating Butternut. A relatively inexpensive exotic.
