Collection: Leopardwood

Leopardwood, Roupala montana, is a medium to dense hardwood from Central and South America with somewhat coarse texture and unique patterns. Rich reddish-brown color accents grayish-colored flecks that resemble the spots of a leopard. Leopardwood is moderately difficult to work because of the density and possible tearout when planed, but it glues and finishes well. This exotic hardwood yields high-quality woodworking projects.
