Pequiarana, a unique Brazilian exotic hardwood, is a medium density, interlocked grain wood that is rare in the exotic wood world. Its scientific name is Caryocar microcarpum. The color is commonly a pale yellow and the working properties are very good with excellent workability for turning. It can be used for a wide variety of woodworking projects! The wood dries well with little degrade and is excellent for twice turning as well.
