Magnificent Maple Burl, Massive Sizes

Big Leaf Maple, Acer macrophylum, has excellent color variations that range from white to coral pink & light brown. No two blanks are the same. This is another reason that Maple is such a fun wood for those who seek a creative flare in their projects. These burls are exceptionally clean.We can ship this material to the USA or overseas.Blanks are freshly cut and wax sealed. They will dry slowly through the wax. These are ideal for twice turning asthey will produce long shavings andvery little sawdust in theair. Blanks will dry easily once turned. We are happy to answer any questions you have about twice turning. Some of the blanks marked as "coral" will have purple/red colored zones thatproduce intense color contrast. CoralMaple is our best-selling variety when we have it available! Please note that blanks marked white in color are almost 100% white in color. All others have Coral color as noted in the description area of each item. The wood in this special will have some bark incursions that are normal for the species and are represented in the pictures. Rough edges and saw marks that will easily turn away are present on only a few blanks.This wood is a great value!
