Argentine Osage Orange

share
This beautiful South American species has lovely, vibrant color reminiscent of American Osage Orange. The pores in this durable wood are large and grain is interlocked with fine to medium texture. Working properties are similar to domestic Osage Orange. This species can also be known as Fustic because of the yellow due named fustic, which has historically been used in making dyes for fabrics. Argentine Osage Orange turns, stains, glues, and finishes well.
