Extra Fancy Red Gum Vessel Blank

Australian Red River Gum has light pink to red colors. Pieces generally have figure on the quarter sawn faces or edges. This dense wood was freshly cut in May of 2023, is completely wax sealed, and contains residual moisture. Twice turning is recommended. Please take care to cover the partially turned blank until it dries. Store this wood in a cool, dry location. Checks and some shrinkage can develop as the wood dries. An occasional rough or live edge or minor check may be present.
