This figured lumber has fancy patterns and wide, loose curls. Chris Craft boats uses this species in their manufacturing. On larger pieces a 1/8 bow may be present that will lay flat with minimal pressure. This material is surfaced on two sides, kiln dried, and ready to use! Some of the pieces may have a fuzzy appearance to them from the surfacing process. This can easily be sanded or surfaced away. The majority of this batch is quarter to riftsawn. A lot of this is suitable for musical instruments. The planer skip on this piece is a little more significant, at approximately 1/16" deep. There is a 3/4" void on the numbered face, left edge, about 1/3 of the way down the board.
