You will receive material that is wax sealed with some rough surfaces but it is beautiful underneath, just like what is pictured. Pheasant figure shows on the flat sawn faces. Measurements are minimums and may vary up to +1/8". This species takes a nice, high polish. Color is golden when freshly cut and then oxidizes to a chocolate brown with age. This has been dried for 2+ years but still contains residual moisture. An occasional bug hole may be present.
