Russian Olive Turning Bargain Box

Russian Olive has rich reddish-brown colors with pale white sapwood that can occasionally age into bright yellow, adding a very nice contrast to your woodturning projects. Burl can be present, also adding beautiful character to finished projects. This blank was freshly cut in October of 2025 and fully wax sealed. As it ages, it may develop some checks or shrinkage, especially in figured or burled areas, but the wood will still be usable for attractive woodworking projects. This wood is ideal for twice turning. The measurements above are for the shipping size. This box contains pieces that are similar in size. Each piece measures approximately 5" x 5" x 1-3/4" - 2".
