Since it is from old growth stock and has very tight growth rings, it has great workability as well as fantastic mineral coloring! The wood cuts easily and glues well. We know you will enjoy working this Pacific Northwest gem. This piece will fit a oversized Les Paul style. There are a few soft spots present that will not go into the guitar. A little narrow above the waist. Soft tan colored wood. Smaller than a Les Paul style.
