Our state of the art facility is over 15,000 sq. ft. and produces world class live edged table tops, mantles, timbers, lumber, turning blanks, book matched sets, musical instruments, burls caps, burl blanks, and more!
This salvaged Redwood is vacuum kiln dried and ready to use. It has been planed on two sides. Since it is from old growth stock and has very tight growth rings, it has great workability as well as fantastic mineral coloring! The wood cuts easily and glues well. We know you will enjoy working this Pacific Northwest gem.
This salvaged Redwood comes in two shades. The darker has aged for perhaps several hundred years in a log on the forest floor. The lighter is more of the traditional color, aged for approximately 50-100 years in a standing snag. Blanks have been surfaced on two sides and wax sealed on the ends. Blanks were cut from the snag in February 2021 and contain residual moisture which dries fairly quickly in this species.
