This beautiful Redwood slab was cut from one log that was planted on a homestead well out of the natural range of the coastal Redwood near Roseburg Oregon. The trees were planted 97 years ago based on the ring count on the logs. The original homestead has long since vanished but you can keep a piece of its history alive! This material has been kiln dried and surfaced on two sides. Some end checks are present and rough edges exist on some. See pictures for knots etc. You’ll love the classic color and figure of this American beauty! This slab is kiln dried and ready to use. Surfaced on two sides. The narrow face has several splits/cracks up to 2' long. Some bark incursions on face. The wide face has sound knots. Beautiful grain, color, and figure. Couple rough corner edges. This slab would make a beautiful table or countertop in your home!
