All of this aromatic Port Orford cedar was cut from ground level or from roots of the magnificent Port Orford Cedar trees. This is a great selection of blanks that have interesting grain patterns and/or fiddleback! Small checks can be present on some blanks (mostly visible in the pictures). Although these have dried for 40 to 70 years in stump form, residual moisture is present. They have lost 60-80% of their original moisture. This is a natural, unique offering that includes natural edge pieces and piece with squared edges (please see photos). Blanks with live edges contain numerous checks in and near the live edge portion of the wood. Green hue, one shallow incursion on back that will easily turned away.
