Okoume is a hardwood with salmon-pink to golden brown tones. Sapwood color is whitish or pale grey when present. The tree generally has interlocked grain that produces a good natural luster. Okoume wood is lightweight and strong, working easily and gluing well with a density between .36 to .42. It has a medium blunting effect on cutters. There may be occasional sound pin knots present. Lumber is surfaced on two sides and kiln dried. Board Sizes: Length: 6 Ft. Width: 4" to 8" Thickness: 1-3/8"
