Hopea Stone Burl Turning Square

This beautiful Southeast Asian Hopea Stone burl is very dense and takes an incredible polish when finished. It was cut in 2018 and is equilibrium air dried, although larger pieces may have some residual moisture. The burl patterns in Hopea Stone look very similar to those of Amboyna burl with colors ranging between golden to orange/brown. This hardwood will make incredible one-of-a-kind woodworking projects.
