Extra Wide Quartersawn Figured African Mahogany Lumber

This figured lumber has fancy patterns and wide, loose curls. Chris Craft boats uses this species in their manufacturing. On larger pieces a 1/8” bow may be present that will lay flat with minimal pressure. This material is surfaced on two sides, kiln dried, and ready to use! Some of the pieces may have a fuzzy appearance to them from the surfacing process. This can easily be sanded or surfaced away. The majority of this batch is quarter to riftsawn. A lot of this is suitable for musical instruments.  This piece has beautiful ropey curl and fiddleback. Stunning! The back face has a little bit more significant planer bite, up to 1/8" deep. On the opposite face and end of numbers, there are a few 1/4" small voids.
