This special English Walnut was cut from a large, highly figured log that we purchased from a landowner in California who was taking out their orchard. The lumber was dried in our vacuum kiln and is ready to use! It has been surfaced on two sides. An occasional check or a slight bow/twist/crown (in boards over 36") may be present. Excellent black marbled streaks, fiddleback, and crotch wood figure can be present and will add a touch of class to your woodworking.

This outstanding material has incredible color with a range of figure! Live edges, checks, and incursions are part of what make this wood unique. Some wood slabs have a slight 1/16” to 1/8” bow or cup but most are perfectly flat. Vacuum kiln dried and surfaced on both sides, this wood is ideal for dining tables, coffee tables, bar tops and just about any other diy woodworking project that you can think of.
