Figured Spalted Elm Burl Bowl Blank

This Elm is great for wood turning! Rich color, easy machinability, and a nice finish are just a few of the reasons Elm is a great choice, not to mention the affordable cost. This turning stock was freshly cut in December 2022 and is wax sealed. The tree was standing dead for over 10 years and the wood has lost over 70% of it's original moisture. An occasional surface or end check or inclusion may be present. It’s wonderful for anyone from the beginner to the expert turner. We recommend the twice turning method for turning this wood.
