Pieces with live edges generally will have checks in sapwood areas. Rustic pieces are for artistic purposes and will have checks, cracks, voids, and significant defects. Please note that due to the rustic nature of this piece, it is not eligible for returns. Rustic pieces cannot ship internationally due to customs regulations. Desert Ironwood Lumber is the densest North American and Northern Mexican species! This piece is rustic and has a couple checks in heartwood and sapwood.
