Curly Red Oak Turning Square (18" x 2" x 2")

INCLUDES 1 WOOD BLANK (several blanks are shown to indicate the range of color/grain to expect). Eastern Curly Red Oak, scientific name Quercus rubra, has warm color and good workability. This batch of turning blanks contains beautiful curly figure on the quartersawn or riftsawn faces. Oak has open grain and some pieces may have some minor checks present. This kiln dried material is surfaced on all sides and finishes well.
