Extra Fancy Claro Walnut Bowl Blank
This beautiful material was cut from several hand picked burls. Having been freshly cut in March 2023 and wax sealed to preserve the quality, it is ideal for twice turning as it contains moisture. Photos feature an array of color, burl and figure, which ranges in intensity and uniqueness from piece to piece depending on which part of the burl the wood was cut from. Burl woods can contain inclusions. Shrinkage and some checking can develop as the wood dries. Hand picked for beauty, you’ll enjoy working this exquisite hardwood.
